J. K. Rowling: Because it’s such a well-worn part of my story now, it’s a big yawn to hear how I wrote it (the series) - as though it (the poverty) was all some sort of a publicity stunt I did for a year. But it was my life, and it was very hard. And I didn’t know it was going to be this… fairytale resolution. And coming back here (the flat where she finished the first Potter book) is just full of ghosts.
