I’m also delighted to see that we’re going to have a screen Ron and Hermione who can bicker as though they’ve been doing it all their lives. Chris’ choice of three wonderful British actors for the leading roles shows how well he understands the spirit of these books.
I wish Dan, Emma, and Rupert, the very best of luck and hope that they have as much fun acting the first year at Hogwarts, as I had writing it.”
Tom: And even now, we’ve got the bit of a press tour about to start in about a week and we’ve been looking forward to that so much that the idea of actually leaving behind hasn’t quite sunk in yet. I think all the cast are a little bit in denial! - that we’ll be going back in another year! But I’m sure this time next year, it would’ve really sunk in. It’s going to be bittersweet.
Jason: Everything will be paid off. Ten years worth of everybody’s lives into this extraordinary adventure where you will… People who love the books will be amazed at how different the films is; people who thinks what’s coming will get what they need and what they want and the ones that they don’t expect. Nobody’s going to be left dissatisfied…. Except for me, cause I still wish it was going on.
